1. RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At The Sequoia Books, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not happy, we're here to help.
Return Window You have 30 days from the date you receive your order to request a return.
Eligibility To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and unread
- In the same condition you received it
- In its original packaging (if applicable)
How to Request a Return To start a return, please contact us at support@theSequoiabooks.com with your order number and the reason for your return. Do not send your item back without first receiving approval and instructions from our team. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Once your return is approved, we will send you a free prepaid return shipping label along with instructions on how and where to send your package.
Return Shipping We provide a free prepaid return shipping label for all approved returns. You will not be charged for return shipping.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
Exchanges We do not process direct exchanges. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return your original item following the process above. Once your return is approved and processed, please place a new order for the item you'd like.
Damaged or Incorrect Items If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at support@theSequoiabooks.com with your order number and clear photos of the item. We will resolve the issue promptly at no additional cost to you.
Non-Returnable Items The following items are not eligible for return:
- Items that have been used, read, or are not in their original condition
- Items returned after 30 days of delivery
- Gift cards
Cancellation Policy You may cancel your order at any time before it has been shipped. To cancel, contact us as soon as possible at support@theSequoiabooks.com with your order number. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled — please follow the return process above instead.
